Yes and No, some may be eaten up by turkey season, but others may have been dropped in the last month or so. It's not unusual for deer to carry them into March. Good places to look are on South facing slopes where deer have bedded in the winter. Other good spots are near any standing crops that were left over, corn, soys etc...and the trails leading into and out of them. Fence crossings are also a hot spot, where they have to jump. We never found sheds around here either until we started a QDM co-op. The neighbors have found nearly a dozen at last count. If you're not in a co-op, it's gonna be harder to find some. (They all get shot) A good time to look is right after or during a rain, they stick out like a sore thumb. Don't wait till there is foliage on the trees. I like to look in March. Hope this helps.
